THIS GAME NEEDS A MOUSE TO PLAY

Every Creeping Thing is an experimental game that explores the alien perspectives of creatures we share our world with. The player moves through three distinct perspectives: trout, mayfly, and larva.

This project is, in part, an attempt to subvert anthropocentric representations of non-human avatars. You can read more about the making of the project on A MAZE magazine's Animals issue (page 16-17).

Thanks to Seth S. Scott for audio work, Karina Popp for the tutorial art, the many friends who have given feedback on the game, and everyone at the NYU Game Center for their help and support.

While not exactly fun, this is exactly what experimental games are about. I enjoyed this, though not in the usual sense. And it's a great exercise for your hands too. And you can feel a sense of purpose to your actions and a sense of wonder for the world presented. Yeah, I'm probably reading into it too much but that's fine :)
